can I go?
Age: At least junior in college.
Character:
-
The person serving must be able to give a clear testimony of salvation and be an active member of a local church.
-
The person serving has talked with wise mentors and through prayer sensed God's leading towards joining BOUNDLESS.
-
The person serving must have a heart for walking with God. This doesn't mean perfection, but it does mean progress.
-
The person serving must have already demonstrated faithfulness.
-
The person serving must have a teachable heart towards God, their leaders and their other team members.
-
The person should choose a joyful attitude to endure difficult situations such as culture shock, homesickness, and slow responsiveness from students.
-
They should already have a past pattern of living out the "7 heart attitudes". We need participants with a servant heart. He or she might even help with "menial tasks" such as cleaning up after a party or helping someone move.
Daily ministry life:
They should already have exemplified taking initiative in making friends with and sharing their faith with university students.

Evangelistic:
They need to have experience sharing their faith. He or she will receive good training, too, in making contacts with new friends at parties, on campus, and perhaps even living with non-believers in a dorm. He or she should be able to relate to our post-modern culture of college students in Germany & Holland. They need to have already evidenced that they have an ease of sharing their faith with those having little background in spiritual things.
Language:
Students speak generally great English. You will also seek out a Dutch or German language partner and work on learning the local language.

Discipleship:
Has been discipled 1-on-1 for at least 1 year and already has experience in discipling someone else. Knows the basics of the Christian faith such as Quiet Time, prayer, evangelism, scripture memory and is an example in living out these principles.
Health & working conditions:
Must use public transport including lots of walking daily. He or she needs to be in fairly good shape physically for walking because even though we have good public transportation, the intern or team may be called to walk at least 2 to 4 miles every day in normal getting around town or riding their bike. Change of climate could also bring allergies.

Funding
Working with your Reliant coach to be fully funded before you get to the place of your internship.
